Costume Drop + Swap

Dressing up is fun, but making costumes can be time-consuming, costly and produce unnecessary waste. This Halloween reduce your time, expenses and trash by reusing and recycling old costumes at the WonderArts Costume Drop + Swap! Bring in last year’s (or last decade’s) costumes and pick out a “new” one: there will be all kinds of costumes, hats, masks and accessories for all sizes and ages! Complete your look at the mask-making station and decorate a trick-or-treat bag. Get your face painted, and take part in some Halloween-themed games and activities. Healthy snacks will be available.

If you’re able, please drop off costumes to the WonderArts program space (below Fellowship Hall at the GUCC) prior to the event. Costumes can be left outside the office door at the bottom of the stairs.

Additional Details

Please note: you don’t have to bring a costume to participate in the Costume Drop + Swap. There will be plenty of extra costumes and dress up accessories available for everyone!

This event is graciously supported by the Greensboro Recreation Committee and the Greensboro United Church.
