Let's Talk Film: Autism in Love

  • Highland Center for the Arts Hardwick Street Greensboro, VT, 05841 United States (map)

Finding love can be hard for anyone but for those with an autism spectrum disorder, the challenges may seem overwhelming. Autism in Love offers a warm and stereotype-shattering look at four people as they pursue and manage romantic relationships.

Neurodiversity is an approach to learning and disability that argues diverse neurological conditions can be the result of normal variations in the human genome, framing learning challenges as differences rather than as deficits. In Focus, presented by WonderArts in partnership with the Vermont Learning Support Initiative, is a documentary series focusing on relevant social and environmental themes. Local experts and community leaders facilitate post-film conversations that provide the tools and understanding for how to create positive change in our community through education, outreach, and action.

Vermont Learning-Support Initiative, a non-profit organization based in Hardwick, offers strength-driven, collaborative support to teens with learning and attention issues who aspire to college.

WonderArts brings people from diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds together through programming, enrichment, events, and community initiatives for all ages.
